Management of Thrips in Hotpepper ?

Symptoms:

1. Leaves crinkles and curl upwards

2. Buds flower & fruits become brittle & drop down.

3. Stunted growth

Control Measures:

1. Blue sticky traps proved to be an effective control measure. (16-20/Acre) & IPM (Integrated Pest Management)

2. Neem Oil Spray5ml/ltr.

Chemical Control:

Fipronil 1.5ml/ltr.

or/with

Imidacloprid 2ml/ltr.

or

Dimethoate 1ml/ltr.

or

Spinosad 0.5ml/ltr.

or

Thiaclorpid 1.5ml/ltr.

or

Diafenthiuron 1.5grm/ltr.
